Wine from the Uco Valley
With “Apátrida,” we have created a wine project that combines enjoyment, quality, and a unique terroir. Since 2021, we have been cultivating our own plot in Los Chacayes, one of the most renowned regions of Argentina’s Uco Valley. In cooperation with The Vines of Mendoza, our wine is produced there under the professional supervision of experienced agronomists and award-winning winemakers. This enables us to produce high-quality boutique wines without having to be permanently on site ourselves. “Apátrida” is the name of our wine line and means “stateless” in Spanish – a small tribute to our community, but above all an expression of a project that was born out of passion and curiosity.

One of the Best Wine Regions in South America
Los Chacayes – An Extraordinary Highland Terroir
Our wines grow in the prestigious Los Chacayes area of the Uco Valley, where altitude, climate, and soil conditions form an ideal symbiosis. At an altitude of around 1,200 meters, the vines benefit from intense sunshine during the day and cool nights, resulting in elegant acidity, ripe fruit, and impressive aromatics. The mineral-rich soils of volcanic rock and gravel give the wines their characteristic clarity and depth. It is not without reason that Los Chacayes is considered one of Argentina’s most exciting terroirs. This is precisely where the character of “Apátrida” grows – shaped by nature, altitude, and exceptional quality.

Apátrida Malbec Rosé – The Elegant “Bleeding Rosé” from Los Chacayes
Our Apátrida Malbec Rosé is made by gently pressing Malbec grapes grown in the highlands of the Uco Valley. The fresh acidity and mineral components make it particularly lively and versatile. Whether it’s the 2021 or 2024 vintage, each rosé is full of character, modern, and ideal for summer days, celebrations, or light cuisine. Apátrida Rosé is a wine that immediately delights and at the same time clearly reveals its origins in the premium terroir of Los Chacayes.

Intense, Balanced, and Authentically Argentine
Apátrida Malbec – Powerful Red Wines from Organic Cultivation
Our Apátrida Malbec red wines represent the full potential of the region: deep dark fruit, elegant structure, and a long, harmonious finish. The grapes come from organically farmed vineyards and are harvested by hand. The “Super Premium” and “Blend” varieties offer complex aromas of dark berries, chocolate, plum, and spicy notes—typical of Argentine Malbec, but clearly influenced by the high altitude in Los Chacayes. The 2022 and 2023 vintages each have their own nuances, but remain consistently powerful, precise, and modern in their vinification. Perfect for connoisseurs looking for high-quality red wines with character.

Apátrida Barrel Fermented – Our Most Exclusive Line
The Barrel Fermented edition is the heart of our project: a Malbec fermented and aged in new French oak barrels that impresses with its depth and complexity. Barrel fermentation creates an extraordinary harmony of fruit, structure, and delicate roasted aromas. Aromas such as blackberry, dark cherry, vanilla, cocoa, and delicate spice notes unfold layer by layer. The small production volume of around 300 bottles per year makes each bottle a collector’s item. The 2022 and 2023 vintages are particularly well-balanced and ideal for special occasions or for storing over many years.

One Name, One Brand, One Story
Why Our Wine Line is Called “Apátrida”
“Apátrida” means “stateless” in Spanish. We also deliberately incorporated the colors yellow and black, which are traditionally used in libertarian circles, into the bottle design. For us, “Apátrida” stands above all for independence, openness, and the courage to go our own way—values that have shaped our company for years. At the same time, the project remains a classic wine venture: handcrafted premium wines from one of Argentina’s best regions. The name is our personal fingerprint—the quality of the wine speaks for itself.
