In the case of deregistration from Germany, you no longer have to observe any restrictions (such as foreign tax laws or regulations when managed properly). In addition, after deregistration from Germany, you can freely withdraw funds from your foreign company without having to pay tax on them in Germany.

First of all, an important distinction: Residency and company location (or company setup) are basically two completely different things.

Generally speaking, a company abroad never requires your permanent personal presence on site. But there are exceptions. Depending on the country of incorporation, you may be required to hold a shareholders' meeting once a year. If you run a foreign company with substance in parallel to a German company (i.e. with employees and a permanent establishment abroad), you will also either have to be on site regularly or hire a managing director in the respective country.

You will therefore enjoy the most freedom with regard to your foreign start-up if you live without a permanent residence (as a perpetual traveler). Then you can run your foreign company completely remotely (from anywhere and without a physical office).

As so often in life, the short answer is: it depends.

How long the "relocation" of an existing German company takes depends very much on the initial situation. The more complicated it is, the more time a "move" can take. Likewise, it makes a difference whether an existing German company is simply being dissolved or whether it is to be continued in parallel. In principle, the formation process can be carried out completely remotely for all company formations that we offer. Especially the formation of US LLCs and companies in Nevis is perceived by our clients as highly convenient, as even the opening of corresponding bank accounts is possible completely remotely and digitally - i.e. without a trip abroad.

For other options such as company formation in Dubai, at least one trip there is required - as in this case it is always mandatory to apply for a residency permit in Dubai as well. This will only be issued in person on site.

Even if many people cannot imagine it at first, there are actually a large number of jurisdictions (= countries with special laws, rules and regulations) that levy 0% corporate income tax. Often called "tax havens" in the vernacular.

Apart from this, there are also so-called "tax transparent partnerships" that do not have to pay corporate income tax. Instead, for these special partnerships, only income tax is due in the country of residence. So, unless one has a permanent residence or one's own residence is in a tax-exempt country, no income tax is effectively due in these cases - because it goes nowhere.

Taxation of as little as 0% is thus quite feasible in practice - specifically, for example, as a perpetual traveler (a permanent traveler without a fixed residence) in combination with a US LLC.

No - this is generally not the case. Having a company in a country does not automatically make you personally liable to unlimited taxation. In such cases, your personal tax liability is limited at most. This applies to the salary that you receive from your foreign company. However, this does not apply to any of the options we offer you for setting up a foreign company. With these companies you do not trigger any automatic tax obligations in the respective country of incorporation.

The answer is simple: the majority of people simply do not know that this possibility exists.

And even if this knowledge is available, it does not fit into the life concept of most people. Because the prerequisite is deregistration and emigration from Germany (or from your current home country) to be able to live tax-optimized or even completely tax-free with a foreign company.

Only without a permanent residence (or with a residency in a tax free country) is it possible to legally reduce your tax burden to as low as 0%. As long as you are registered in Germany or your other home country, you can only optimize your taxes. In this case, however, the effort is comparatively high and only worthwhile if you have a permanent 6-digit income. In addition, the business model must be able to be relocated abroad digitally in a credible manner in the first place.

Of course, this depends on the industry in which you are active. In some cases, it may make sense to use a German GmbH, for example, in order to serve the German-speaking region. Nevertheless, nowadays especially incorporation options like US LLCs are nothing out of the ordinary for the German market.

On the contrary, US companies generally enjoy a high level of trust and respect in Germany. The mutual recognition of invoices, for example, is even highly official in the friendship treaty with the USA.

First of all, that depends entirely on the industry in which you work. A general answer is therefore difficult without a specific context.

What we can say from our experience, however, is this. The USA in particular is highly regarded as a powerful country in global business transactions. Invoices from US companies are recognized everywhere without restrictions. Furthermore, setting up a company in the USA allows easier access to the American financial market - and thus also to a large number of interesting banks and internationally popular payment service providers (such as Paypal, Stripe, etc.).
