International Cities: Freedom, Diversity and Innovation

International cities are privately managed communities that offer freedom, opportunity, and choice through transparent contracts. They aim to revolutionize urban governance by providing excellent services and regulatory frameworks driven by strong incentives for city operators. These cities have a high degree of autonomy in their internal affairs, but remain part of their host nation on issues such as defense and international relations.

The Connection of Tipolis and denationalize.me

Christoph and Titus met in 2013 at a conference called Students for Liberty. This was a student organization in which Christoph was actively involved. Christoph was impressed by Titus’ presentation and approached him afterwards. In 2016, the two met again in Monaco, when Christoph was already traveling as a so-called “Perpetual Traveler”.

In 2018, Titus invited Christoph to invest in his project Prospera, which implements the idea of a Free Private City in Honduras. Christoph was one of the first investors to put a significant amount of money into Prospera. Prospera grew into the vision of establishing Free Private Cities in various locations around the world.

Christoph supports Tipolis as an ambassador and inspires his community as well as people he meets on his travels about this innovative idea of living and doing business together.

Learn More About International Cities

Dr. Titus Gebel’s book “Free Private Cities” presents an innovative model in which private companies act as city operators. These operators negotiate autonomy from host states, exempt the city from taxes and regulations. Instead citizens enter into “Citizen Contracts” that define their rights and responsibilities. The book describes how this model can reduce regulatory burdens to foster creativity and prosperity. A new edition of the book will be published this October.

You can also find a lot of information on our International Cities page.
